Most people who are severely chemically sensitive live in isolation with limited contact with others in order to protect their health. It is important to develop NEW friends (the old ones abandon you since you don't have a 'real' illness). Relatives who just can't live without their hair spray and fabric softeners stop visiting also. The Internet provides a means for all of us to make new friends, exchange ideas, offer help to others, etc.
